This may save you or a loved one a trip to the ER.
Summer is over and the rain is back. It gets darker earlier and vision is restricted. I am a very good driver and in my job I drive and evaluate many different vehicles.
I almost ran over a bicycle and rider this morning. It was raining hard and my wipers were on full.
The bicyclist was wearing grey clothing and blended perfectly into the road and horizon. He had no lights whatsoever. I stopped just in time.
I ride a bicycle as well...but I always have a front strobe light flashing away.
The strobe light can easily be seen at fifty meters, and can alert drivers that a bike is on the road.
If you ride a bike, head down to MEC and pick up a strobe light. They are inexpensive and could possibly save you, or a loved one, a world of hurt.
